Another big day for us at Urban Influence. Our recently redesigned site is featured as Site of the Week on Web Designer Magazine.

In addition to the online appearance, we received a 3-page spread in this month’s print edition (issue 233 – pages 24-26). Both write-ups highlight our site and thoughts on the responsive, multi-device web.

Thanks Guys!

As long time readers of Web Designer, we’re humbled and honored for the nod. We put a ton of heart into everything we do, so it’s always nice to see that hard work recognized by industry peers. A big thanks to editor Mark Billen (@Mark_Billen) for reaching out and making it happen.

But Wait… There’s More

Oh but it doesn’t stop there. Make sure to check my tutorial on Mobile-First Approach to Proportional Typography and Layouts. Essentially, the step-by-step details a method for establishing a more meaningful relationship between grid systems and typography via SCSS, fluid sizings, media queries, and modular scale (expect a follow up piece right here on the Urban Blog).
